VRS Mileage

Featured Replies

I'm picking up a 2010 VRS with 9,000 miles on the clock. What year and mileage has your VRS got? Anyone got to their third service yet??

Mines 2011 just over 16,000 mile will be going for second service round march next year

Why?

And yes, third service at 27870 miles

Engine replaced at 28000 miles

March 2011, 14000 miles.....

Interested in what mileage people have put on this engine as I am worried all the technology could make a weak engine. Thanks for your reply though to my pointless thread

2010 41,000 faultless miles ;)

2011 36,000 faulty miles...

Mine does appear to be a really bad egg though. They're are definitely more fully serviceable cars than there are like mine, just enjoy your car and don't worry about the details.

September 2011 - 1 service at 9500 miles, did it early because I was going on holiday, Currently on 12500 miles

2010 41,000 faultless miles ;)

ditto

2010 14,500 miles - just had second service - no problems apart from corroding chrome alloys (had them refurbed to plain silver).

A few 2010s there with no problems. Good news

December 2010 Just about to have my 30K service, like Brian 69 I had a replacment set of wheels due to corrosion, other than that mechanically it has been great.

Sorry, should have added in post 6 that the car was first registered in March 2011. However, it was the showroom car and therefore believe that it was built in 2010. I think they can not sell a showroom car for three months for some reason but this could be total rubbish.

Feb 2011...17k...2 services...3 oil changes :)

Feb 2011 6,100 miles 1 service, no problems so far, although possible start of minor corrosion on one alloy

July 2012, 12900 miles..
