Hi, Just joined the Forum as have just picked up a 61 plate Octavia VRS in white.

Sold my Impreza STI (325bhp) and wanted something different, so after looking around, found an Octavia at a Dealer, had a test drive and liked it enough to go for it!

Slight vibration from the OS which I "think" is a sticking caliper but will look at that when the weather stops being so wet.....

If anyone can give me an idea if there are any local groups around the Harlow/Bishops Stortford/Epping/Ware area I would like the info... was quite involved in the Scooby scene and forums, so would be nice to see if anything is out there locally on the Skoda side...

Already found that AMD in Thurrock can remap the VRS quite well, so in the New Year I may pop down there for a chat.

we do meets in all local areas, several country wide meets , 2 in the lakes each year, 2 in WSM each year , and generally an international meet, we drove to prague in september, stopped at the nurburgring on the way back... lots of track day events too...
