Hi

I want to change few things in my Monte Carlo.

1. I want to have a big digital speed but in kilometers not in miles- like after changing for Australia. Tried to choose Germany as well but it's still in MPH. Haven't tried Rest of World settings as it's gone dark outside but I guess that it would be the same? Also tried to find any units conversions for that but all I have is simple time and petrol combustion settings... Is there any way to have it in kilometers?

2. I want a standard one-click all door opening- not a selective opening (double click). Have found on forum the way thru locking convenience/adaptation/channel 3. Problem is that I don't have central convenience available on the list and maybe it's under different section? I found adaptations under instruments but it has so many codes options that I prefered not to mess with it...

3. Is there any way to integrate Maxidot with Swift Radio so it would display radio information on Maxidot or even let you use a remote on steering wheel (simple one as its Monte Carlo without bluetooth)?

Hope that putting 3 question in one topic is not a problem- just think that experienced VCDS user should know the drill:)

I havent yet found a way to code the large MPH display in to KPH, I wanted this for a recent trip to Europe. No market change (Aus,ROW) affected this.

Not sure on the central locking, on octavia it is on 09 central electric, but I disabled mine on maxidot.

1.Thanks for fast answer.Yes- I thought that there must be a different setting to change for KPH, anyone knows which one? There must be the way... hope not too much intrusive - to not to lose warranty:)

2. Any particular name to under central electric? Asking in case it's not fully intuitive... I browsed thru all maxidot setting but it's very limited and probably only VCDS can do it:)

3. Any hints on radio on maxidot?

Ok- number 3- I guess it helps if you turn radio on... Then on maxidot option Audio will appear... no VCDS needed for that... wow I'm good in answering my own questions...

I want to know about the big KPH too I spend most of my time in mainland Europe and it would be a lot handier! I think I heard about the forum in the past that Republic of Ireland cars have this screen and MPH (not 100% sure) can anyone try it and let me know.
