Colour magic anyone?

Featured Replies

I have been using Autoglym polish which does a lovely job, but doesnt get rid of those annoying little scratches.

Has anyone got opinions of Colour Magic or similar product?

You need a decent cleaner-wax, then a good wax after. Swissol is my choice of quality shine.

I use Zymol cleaner wax then Meguire's tech wax not sure if it's as good as Swissol but it's light years in front of anything in the autoglym range imho.

I'm not sure if these products you guys have recommended will get rid of scratches or not but I was wondering what stuff was best for my red paint?

I have alot of Autoglym left which I want to use up because I'm a tight git then will look for better stuff but am getting annoyed with lots of careless folk in car parks leaving scratches from jackets and handbags and the like!

I use Autoglym super resin polish(seems to aid the removal of slight blemishes) every 3 months then apply meguirs stage 3 carnuba wax. I use the meguirs wax after every wash.

I now use Meguirs Gold Class polish on my vRS but always used to use Autoglym Super Resin polish...

Years ago I used Colour Magic on my white Orion..it left masses of residue and got stuck in the plastic and trim , it WAS A NIGHTMARE:( I'd recommend a specific Meguiars or Autoglym product myself:)

Meguires Scratch X is brilliant at removing swirls and scratches.
