Hi if I'm taking my headlamp units out to replace lamps do I need to remove the grill ?

No, open the bonnet, unscrew the plastic nut on each light, then pull the plastic lever under the inner edge of the light towards the centre of the car and the light will come out, no need to remove the grille as it will be up out of the way when the bonnet is open
