vrs diesel octavia abs light on

Featured Replies

Hi lads, going to view a 2007 octavia on Saturday... car has genuine low miles, full service history, lady owned,

BUT the ABS light is on..... What do you lads think?

Should I avoid it or chance it....?

Thanks lads

Probable price negotiation point; it's most likely just a wheel sensor, but it could be the ABS ECU after all.

if the car has ESP, then I'd be walking away as it could be the dredded Teves G60 failure. However if the car has ASR only, then it's most likely just a wheel speed sensor. Best thing is to get someone with VCDS to scan the car (must be HEX+CAN version).
