Hi guys, I'm going for a mufflerectomy soon, flicking through the bay at some tips, I found this:

But I have a question, it says fits exhausts from 40something TO 63mm. How can this be? I'm going to be doing the work myself with a friend and I am under the impression that the standard bore is 2.5" (63mm)? I'm obviously goin to source a pipe from the local scrap yard.

But just didn't wanna buy this tip if its one of the stupid cheap screw on things. Lol (I wanna be able to weld this on to the 2.5" pipe I replace my back box with.

I'm 99% sure the standard system is 2 inch. I had a 2.5 inch mufflerectomy put on as they tend to sound a bit better.

Ahh right. So just but a step up section of exhaust from somewhere then yeah?

Yeah mate, he a step up pipe on mine just after where the back box would end
