Does anyone know what the steering assist code is for a 61 plate 1.4 VRS? My wife had complained to the dealer about the steering being light at speed & asks him if he could change it, which he did. He told the wife that he had set it to a non VRS as that’s the only thing they are allowed to do (the car is still light). I now have VDCS & the code reads 11260.

It was not the only setting they could do because they can do too lighter settings for Disabled Drivers.

I had mine reset with less assist last winter with Cold Weather tyres, but went back to standard when i was using 215's .

Sorry i did not do it so no idea of codes.

Have you tries adjusting the tyre pressures & see if it suits her better?

Thanks’ George. I have altered the code with VDCS which has made it heaver (was 11260 & now 11240) But I believe the VRS is progressive & this isn’t, which makes me the think I need the original code & then modified that one .Right now holds a good at speed, but a lot more effort needed when turning from a stand still.
