Does anyone know what the steering assist code is for a 61 plate 14 VRS? My wife had complained to the dealer about the steering being light at speed & asks him if he could change it, which he did. He told the wife that he had set it to a non VRS as that’s the only thing they are allowed to do (the car is still light). I now have VDCS & the code reads 11260.

So going by the codes in the other thread they have set the car to mobility help after you asking for the steering to be made heavier?

Yes Grantson & they wonder why nobody has faith in the dealers!! I have altered the code with VDCS which has made it heaver (was 11260 & now 11240) so as that other post you put me onto it’s the 4^th digit with a lower value that makes it heaver. But I believe the VRS is progressive & this isn’t! which makes me the think I need the original code because I’m not sure the first 3 was not changed by the dealer & that’s the reason it’s not progressive. Right now holds a good line at speed, but a lot more effort needed when turning from a stand still.

Could always put it back to 60 go back to the dealer, complain & get it put back to stock to see what the stck code for the VRS is then adjust accordingly
