Wrc Germany - Updates!

Do we know the reason for retirement? Out of curiousity?

Jason Toni Gardemeister, retired on SS13, after he broke a driveshaft on his car. The right-rear wheel became blocked, and with only front wheel drive, it was not possible to complete the stage. Team-mate Didier Auriol retired on the last stage of Day One with an engine problem

(Loeb is the dark horse here, watch out for him!)

For once, my instincts served my right. Seb won!

Too bad about the Fabias - had hoped that they would have endured a longer "test session"...

I have just scrolled through this whole topic without reading it, as I haven't watched the final day on video yet. Disappointing that both Fabias have gone out already, although I'm not surprised that jump wrecked the suspension. At least they weren't too far off the pace on a couple of stages (15 seconds I believe), not bad for a brand new car. Shows they have the potential, hopefully.

Car looks wicked BTW ! :)

Indeed, we know that skoda's don't fly too well, or at least land too well!

:)

They land exactly as Sir Isaac Newton intended - hard ;)

Okay, since Channel 4 thoughtfully re-scheduled the WRC coverage on Sunday (or my newspaper got it wrong) I have "The Channel 4 News" on video. Anyone fancy lending me a recording ? (Still avoiding finding out who won !) :)

I missed it too. Apparently the hugely important "English sport" ran long.:D
