Have DSG reliability problems been cured?

Just bought a April 2011 170 (49,000 miles) with a DSG box, when i test drove it noticed that there was a vibration at idle on moving off and also when reversing. Dealer said they would sort before delivery which they did. Started by changing oil and filter, then checked software for updates, considered replacing mechatronics unit. Advised by Skoda UK to change complete gearbox to make entirely sure there were no future issues, factory fresh dsg fitted was special order from VAG production line. Dealer paid 40% Skoda UK paid 60%. There were recalls on earlier DSG especially in China and Australia i believe?

There are no longer any issues as far as I know so should be safe with ex demo/new
