  1. If you download the Skoda connect app you should be able to reset from there. I picked my new superb on Friday and I'm working my way through a few issues myself. Now it won't let me create and additional user profile for my wife...
  2. Just taken delivery of my iV estate. Admittedly it was an inflight order for the dealers so I did not place the original order. It was due at the dealership in early April but took delivery on Friday. It spent 4 weeks at the docks waiting to be shipped. Anyhow it was worth the wait I'm very pleased with it.
  3. Morning all Picked up my new iV on Friday. The superb continues to evolve and get better and better! (This is my fifth one! 1 MK1, 2 MK2 and now 2 MK3) For those of you that have an iV, how do you save all the battery range for a congestion zone for example so you lock out the electric motor and drive on the petrol engine only. I'm sure it has this feature but cannot find it in the hand book. Any assistance here greatly appreciated thanks! 😃
  4. Hi All, Has anyone who has an "in flight order" experienced/ is experiencing delays at Emden port. I have a Superb SE L on order and his has been at port since 15th March with no sign of movement. Customer service say there have been delays due to bad weather, but they must have a large backlog as sailings to Hull are every few days. My dealer anticipates it should be ready to collect by the end of month but nothing confirmed. Anyone experiencing similar issues?
  5. Hi All I'm revisiting the forum and also looking to buy another Skoda Superb after an absence of 18 months. The Superb will be my 5th I've had all three generations including a MK1 V6, two MK2 170 DSG elegance models and my last was a Superb Sportsline 190 diesel with a DSG. It was an excellent car all round with a 50 mph easily attainable and fantastic torque and acceleration. I know I'm looking at Sportsline Plus but which engine is the real dilemma for me. I'm looking to buy an ex demonstrator as dont want to finance the initial depreciation from new. I'm thinking about the IV. I appreciate the electric only range and have managed to read various forums about that. What I want to know is typically how long will the electric motor work with the petrol engine on say a long motorway trip and what sort of mpg do people achieve on a long trip. I do appreciate that a lot is governed by your right foot and also the ambient temperature ( I am very familiar with EVs / battery performance as we have a 2020 Nissan Leaf in the household) My general use is a 42 mile round commute and at weekends when we are not locked down much longer trips. I do like cars that have good acceleration and torque as well as reasonable fuel economy. I.e 40 mpg plus on long journeys. Is the IV a good choice or am I better off looking at a 2.0 TSi 190 or a 2.0 TSI 272 although I suspect this will be thirsty even if you don't use the performance all the time? I ve got used to the refinement of a petrol engine now so wish to avoid the diesels this time around.
