So ive changed the fuse and all the lights work, but now the bulb light is still on and the glow plug light is too? Haha

I think you will find the Glow Plug light will switch off after about 6 engine starts.

Already over 6 starts mate and its still on, even the bloody bulb light is still on even know they are all working :S

Are they standard rear bulbs? I swear I remember that the rear cluster is on a circuit board which has a set resistance (ohms law) and if it isn't within that range it brings on the bulb warning light.

Or have you added rear parking sensors ? I did this to my old one and the bulb warning light would come on now and again.

Ah right, well i only replaced one bulb and its brighter than the other so maybe thats the problem... ill try and get it sorted tonight, i got the bulb from halfrauds though so it may even be a wrong bulb, its all just confusing me though cause its one thing after the other haha..

Always replace exactly like for like.

Brake lights arent working at all now, and the middle one above the window is constantly on..bought a brand new fuse and no luck, what the hell is going on?!?!

You have got a severe short somewhere is the short answer methinks...

...If you were closer I would offer to diagnose but alas you're not.

Undo both fuses. If the light goes out on the middle, then what you need to do is then bring up a wiring diagram for the fabia and work out where those wires go to and start circuit testing with a multimeter.

You mentioned earlier that the replacement bulb is brighter than the other side.

It sounds as though you have forced the new bulb into the wrong position, if so, the brighter filament (brake light) is on instead of the side light filament.

The replacement bulb should have semi offset pins, these are not like a normal brake/side light bulb which have 180' offset pins, but have the pins at about 135', they are hard to find at motor accessory places, but easy to find at a Skoda/VW dealer.
