Featured Replies

To make room for these cheapy wheels, i picked up last night

Now there is laquer peel on the face so wanna paint the faces only - graphite inlays are fine. What colour?????? any photo shoppers could do me a solid i would like to see red and green and whatever you may suggest.

loving the stance but had to lift her 30mm just to fit them in

They are 19 inch with half worn 235 35 19 tyres, a guy hit pothole and rim came in letting air out so i got him before he scrapped em. one big hit with a deadblow hammer and she took air nae bother. £30

Oh and thanks, better than previous effort eh?

they look terrible imo dude, hats off to all your work but flip them, plus tyres are wrong, you will no doubt get scrub, i recon on the pancake pipe for sure on lock, the fact you raised them 30mm already says it all! Plus they are reps so will be heavy, and no doubt crack with time. Just my 2 cents!

taken on board. The 235 35 19 are actually something like 7mm taller according to tyre height charts so thats only the difference good to half worn tread would make anyway top to bottom so no big worries there at all. the lift is cos of scrub only as offset is big, and no it doesnt rub pancake pipe, or anything else, just the rear arches. Rubbing is a thing i quite like. I like them

lol well we all like a good rub dude, just not on my wheels:> IIRC some other member had trouble with 235, cant think who it was... Also try turning up hills, drops carefully on lock, as thats where it tends to rub inner arches/pancake etc

oh aye i bet it would rub like a muvva bitch in many situ's but as long as my speedo is still slower than correct (60mph on speedo is 57mph on nav, 1 mph different to previously) but yes to rubbing and oooooooooh yes to looks, ive actually wanted these for a while

and when tyres wear out ill be doing some lovely stretchy tyres

weirdly they look better in bright colours than they do as polished faces!

It's all about being brave enough to be different!

If I can persuade my bro to sell his silver ATR the wheel colour I'll be going is in one of the pics ;)

Silver, black, white, gunmetal have been done to death and are boring and safe.

I'm kinda liking the orange

I wouldn't paint them, I would polish them and lacquer. And then flip them for profit. ;)

  • Author

I'll be keeping them as I have been after a set for ages

Got iPhone? Try the app (colour effects) plenty of colours to try.
