Hi all was reading through an article yesterday about a tpi for the accelerator pedal because of intermittent idle problems I telephoned skoda Cardiff today to research this they say not also checked for a tpi for water in rear footwells as we all know common fault nothing anybody have in more info on this?

Tpi I assume it means technical problem inspection something like that it's not a sealant issue had that done b4 where they resealed the inner door card the thin metal piece back to the door I think water is collecting on that seal and not running out of car it's pooling and running in I think

TPI = Technical Product Information.

A bit like an internal dealer memo that warns of defects and recalls.

You also have TSB's - which are Technical Service Bulletins, and Recalls.

Has TSB's released for most companies including recalls for all dates up to present (albeit it's a bit hideous to trawl through lots of pages).

ps for those of you old enough to remember TSB was the Trustee Savings Bank. They have long-since gone the way of the dinosaurs!
