Final update for now, price seriously down, service history located. This is the cheapest non Cat C/D vRS with all the preventative work done, just had a new battery... want it gone now.

That would definitely work, it does around 50mpg even in my ham-fisted driving style!

thats how i get the 70mpg outta mine. Just fancy summit with some poke! especially as this one has the poly work and the clutch/fly and turbo. First car thats come along and grabbed my attention for a while. - and the roof racks will switch over too

How many previous owners, have you had it long?

I need a commuter car possibly only issue is I'm in Scotland :( I flew down for a Clio 182 before to the very same place, though.

It has poly bushes mate, which last longer, has new clutch and flywheel, and new turbo, all stuff that would need to be done has been. Many many miles of trouble free motoring with this one mate, itll be worth the journey, lots of history and reciepts.

I tell you mate for the money this is astonishingly cheap and im amazed it hasnt gone yet. Dont expect it to be cosmetically perfect but good for many many years yet. My opinion is go for it, cracker.

Harry- my assistant has told you everything you need to know. the cambelt was done this year too. It's got no big bills for another 50-60k or so. Only mods left are the map and tinted rear windows. It is not perfect by any stretch, but it's perfectly usable, comfortable, quick and economical.

Be quick if you want it, as I've got about 3 or 4 deals lined up- it's gunna look like a scene out of Rat Race... whoever gets here first with whatever car/cash/items wins.
