Newbie with Vrs LE from Surrey

Hi Everybody new to these forums.

Picked up our '09 Octavia Vrs CR Tdi LE #480 on Saturday. I've seen the post about the LE registery & added myself.

The Skoda is going to be our new family car for our newborn son (22 days old), as the '05 Astra Sri Cdti we had before wasn't big enough.

The cars got currently 18,500 miles on the clock and we average 6k a year, so mileage won't drastically go up.

Anybody else located in Surrey ???

I'll upload the pictures when I get a chance.

Yep I am, Camberley area.

Great choice of motor and the second best colour for a VRS too, I also ditched Vx for Skoda.

I used a copy of this MSTD_EU_SK_P6230 MU0490 if anyone else needs, the site I think I had it from was mibsolution.one is currently down though. I was wary of the copy I had and passage of time, but it worked fine installed, I just have to clear the fault code ( have odbeleven but pro ran out and doesn't cover the adaption by looks of it) Excuse the state of my interior I don't use the car that much and could use a vaccuum.

..and lost! I was reversing out of their drive last night and never saw the small gate post, tried to turn, heard a bang and then, well, you can see from the pics. So mad at myself but left it until this morning to have another look at it. Pics 1 & 2 were mostly on the skirt and that has all come off with just washing it down with a sponge. However, Pic 3 shows where I hit the post whilst turning. Most of it has come off (Pic 4 & 5) but there is a slight dent and plastic bit in the whee

Last year I had my 2013 Mk. 2 Fabia air conditioning (A/C) serviced by WeChillAnyCar - I had used them before on a different car. They extracted the gas, refilled it, (allegedly) tested that everything worked and I paid them for the work.. I didn't think to test it until a few weeks later when I discovered that it didn't work at all.
