Why or Why?!?

Featured Replies

Not a fan of the guy,so this doesn't surprise me. He seems a bit 2 faced at times. All happy and cheery when he's winning but a very bitter loser. Seems to be playing the marketing game far too much to take him seriously half the time.

Agreed, no need for it.

Massa gearbox seal falling off - very astute by Ferrari

Vettel component changes in Abui Dhabi - very astute by Red Bull

I usually was getting the impression that perhaps he is just to nice in front of the cameras - think perfect media training?

Pot calling the kettle black springs to mind. As Alonso has said the threat is from Hamilton and not Vettel. When you fight Red Bull you're actually fighting Newey. Imagine how fast that car would have been if Alonso and Vettel had swapped cars.

Very much so, kind of what I was alluding to in my post. Seems to be the (almost) perfect PR puppet when it's all going his way.

Hello Mr Vettel, I have a Mr Kettle for you on line 2. It's something about visual spectrum reflectance.

World Champions need to act with dignity and respect for the sport they represent.

Vettel's post race comments were sour.

Moreover, his recent behaviour on the podium when he used the F word and poured "champagne" over Coulthard while interviewing race winner Raikonnen, was immature, rude and pathetic.

He may be a three times winner but he is a long way away from being a F1 great. The sport is always bigger than the individual.

He does come acros as little bit "artificial" if you know what I mean. I much prefer people like Kimi (Legend!), JB (The King of Cool Style) or even Lewis being his usual fumbling and lost star struck half baked celeb with huge talent but head in all the wrong places ...

Kimi is epic. He couldn't care less about anyone else and people love him for it. He's not a robot and blindingly quick. People took the pi55 out of him for taking the blocked off shortcut but it was open in 2001 when he did it then. He said he'd make sure the gate was open next year. He didn't want 3rd in the WDC as it means going to the awards ceremony. Apparently he said something along the lines of "we would have come 4th but unfortunately Hamilton crashed so we got third"

Edit: and this t-shirt

Didn't he mention a bar used to be there in 2001? ;)

Loving the long sleeved ones - Who's got an eBay account to get a Brisky group buy going?

Oh and back to Kimi, apparently he's entered a Snow Ski race again but this time it's supposed to be on the day of the F1 Gala where he should be collecting his 3rd place award,
