Hi

Just got a new superb 170 4x4 L&K hatchback, for some reason the rear map reading lights and rear footwell lights remain on when driving, which is very distracting!

Ive had a look at the settings on the mfd display and unticked the footwell lights but no mention of rear map lights and cant find any reference to this in the handbook either. Anyone else come across this?

Was actually tempted to remove some bulbs as a temporary solution:)

Aside from this, the car is wonderful...

Not trying to teach you to suck eggs, but have you checked the switch on the rear map lights themselves? (I'm assuming there is one).

Asking the obvious, I presume you've checked the switches on the lights themselves?

All sorted now, as you both predicted the lights were in fact switched on when my mrs was sat in back prodding buttons last week!

The switch works in the opposite way to what I thought, turns out pushing the button in turns it off not on as I thought. Might have known it would be something obvious. Just glad I only embarrassed myself on here and not at the dealership!
