Just wondering, is it possible to get the the N/S fog light activated on a fl octy by the dealer or is it a vcds job as not a fan of the one fog light brigade.

Dealers can do it - some will, some wont. Mine told me it couldn't be done coz the actual wiring wasn't there (this was on my old VRS).

Don't think anyone has actually managed to do this on an fl using vcds.

Dealers might be able to but most probably don't know how to.

PFL with 3C0 21 Bit Midline CECM not possible. Retrofitted 3C8 30 Bit Highline CECM (ex-Passat CC) and now have 2 rear foglights.

Can be done on pre-FL, not on a FL.

Interesting to read on the Passat CECM though.

The ex-passat CC CECM has pretty much everything, including heated front screen. I upgraded mainly to get my footwell lights working correctely in the Maxidot. Cornering fogs were a bonus, and I quite like those aswell.

Installation was a breeze, just had a bit of a problem getting the coding right. Could choose between having 50% rear lights (only 2 lights on in the C shaped cluster on each side) and no error, or 100% rear lights (4 lights on as there should be) but a bulb out warning on the dash. Took a while but it coded out, so very happy now!
