They seem to not work at all in this cold snap so the boot is difficult to open. I've read that its a problem in the cold but wondered who else has noticed this?

My car tries to smack me on the back of the head if I don't open the boot lid all the way. I would guess the struts are a bit tired, replacing them would probably solve this.

normally i pop mine and a quick tug up it goes. . .

today pop'ed it . .tugged it n it just stopped about half way up.

obviously the cold just makes the fluid in them less viscous?. .

Seems like these Fabias have so many issues in cold weather lol.

I noticed this after opening my boot like vrs burks says just lifting it a little then a nudged it 3/4 times and was like something wrong here! Lol
