Featured Replies

It's saying I need to download a new version but won't download it. Do I need it? The trouble is, I can't now sign in.

Im on MSN 7 with no problems apart from loosing some sounds.

I have Trillian, MSN is taking ages to download. Must be my PC.

I had this on all 3 of my PCs running MSN 6.2 (before v7 was out) and I'd download and install the "new" version and the problem would still occur. In the end, I did an uninstall of MSN, reboot and then a reinstall and it seemed to stop asking.... :D Now running v7 with the odd connection drop, but no real problems :)

If you're on one of the betas of V7 it will insist you upgrade. You can stay on 6.2 for as long as you like. Of course V7 comes with the "protection" that stops you exchanging most types of files (like .jpg for instance  )
