Travel?

Featured Replies

I have searched for this but have been unsuccessful in finding the answer, so here goes.

In the electronic settings there is an option for travel, when it is checked, the blown bulb indicator flashes a couple of times and then goes off. So what has just happened?

I set it back to un ticked after I changed it.

Thanks Kenny R, should come in handy when we go off to Lyon in February.

I've been to Lyon, lovely town.

We are going there for a two day meeting, Thursday and Friday in February, we can then have our other halves flown out for a weekend skiing, so it should be a good weekend.

How long did it take you from the Ferry/chunnel?

The only annoyance I found with the system is that all the time travel mode is selected every time you start up you get the flashing bulb warning, yes, it reminds you that you have travel mode selected, but I found myself constantly worrying I had a defective bulb. If you have a defective bulb does the warning light remain on?

When I tested the towing electrics my light board had a blown bulb and the warning light stayed on. I have not had a bulb go out on the car but I expect the warning to stay on untill all bulbs are working.

Yes, it will stay on. For me, the bigger annoyance is the lack of light spread and having the cornering function disabled! :(

We wnt accross on the ferry, can't remember how long that took, and we tore a path through the countryside on high powered motorcycles teehee.

From memory, we spent about three days there after riding through torrential rain for 150 miles and erecting tents up in the drizzle, and suffering the muddy quagmire surrounding our tents. :swear: :'(

Had my leathers on a hot radiator for three days, and they were still damp when we departed. :@

Certainly a trip to remember then! I will be going in the car, with my suit hanging up on the hook, probably stay in a nice hotel, I am 40 now so need to have a few comforts around.

The best part will be parking next to other managers from our european subsidiaries all with A4 or A6 and me with the Yeti!!
