Does anyone know if the Yeti or any orher VAG wing mirror glass will fit a Fabia 2? Thanks for any help.

I think Roomster's will do the job, but I am not sure, as I asked two dealersips, three independant part stores and two scrapyards and I received. 1 out of two dealers responded Fabia's are identical to Roomster's, three out of three part stores responded the same that they are identical and two scrapers responded don't know but they seems to be the same.

I had the same un-answered question since the day my Roomster's mirror broke and got replaced under warranty. If you find out what is the truth please write it down here.

Fabia and roomster mirrors are the same but some have manual, plain black unheated, others painted caps, electric heated.

 

There are differing numbers but they are  mainly transferable from one to the other, as long as its manual to manual, leccie to leccie!

 

 

Not sure about Yeti mirrors as they have indicators in so I am guessing that, in the unlikely event the mirror glass was the same, the mount would differ but if the mount was the same, the wiring would be wrong. This would be workable with the correct knowledge and perhaps then, someome could have Yeti mirrors on their Fabia.

 

I think however, if this WAS possible, it would have been done and guided here, somewhere! I am sure if owners KNEW it was do-able, many would have done it!

 

 

SORRY, ONLY JUST NOTICED HOW OLD THIS THREAD IS!!!!!! STILL, KNOWING THE GLASS AND MIRRORS ARE SWAPPABLE FROM A ROOMY TO A FAB IS NICE, WOULD BE GREAT TO FIND OUT YETI'S CAN BE SIMPLY MODDED TOO!!!
