EBC V3 Redstuff - any good?

Featured Replies

As some of you know am upgrading the brakes to 312mm vrs brake discs, and am looking into uprated pads at the same time, just wondered if the EBC stuff is any good really?

See a snippet about them........

Thx Lee

EBC V3 Redstuff

High Performance Road M3, Evo, Impreza etc.

Effective to above 750

Mate @ AMD swears by them, but not the discs......Low brake dust as well so they keep your wheels cleaner for longer...I will be using the Green ones if i upgrade to Brembo`s

I had some EBC Greenstuff (not v3) on my Scooby and the pads left hotspots on the disc which led to them warping (they were Ian Godney's legendary discs!). Personally, I'd not touch them, unless they were matched up with the EBC discs, but maybe someone has experience of the v3's to compare.

FWIW, I was told Redstuff took a while to get up to temperature so Greenstuff was better for the roads, but it looks like the specs may have changed :D

New V3 has resolved earlier problems, so i have been informed;)
