Brakes

Featured Replies

Check out www.brakecaliperrefurbs.co.uk anyone fancy lambo calipers on their Skoda ?

Lambo calipers have been done before but I'm sure the brakes are not very well suited to put on our car due to the piston size and our master cylinder not man enough ;-)

These originate from a Guy working on a few forums at the moment called DaveB who runs a company called vagbremtechnik who specialize in big brake kits for VAG kits. There are alot of guys on this forum running his upgrades. This guys really knows his onions and has produced some pretty spectacular setups. Basically he got so busy developing kits that he linked up with the guy in the link above so that some of the pressure could be taken off him.

I wouldnt go straight ahead and purchase lambo calipers and when you speak to them they will tell you straightaway that they wont work with the master cylinders, and piston surface areas etc. Send them an email, or go on VAGOC http://www.vagoc.co.uk/vb/forumdisplay.php?f=103 and let him know your car model and budget and ill bet he comes up with something pretty phenomenal.

DaveB is awesome in his professional approach and ability to sort out any of your Braking requirements. One email and a phone call to him and my brakes were sorted. Highly recommended.

Hes a top guy. He was happy to help me in deciding what I wanted/needed when I was rather clueless. Hes currently sorting it out now.. Cant wait! :)

Yep DaveB is a brake legend and a scene good guy. What he doesn't know about brakes ain't worth knowing its that simple

anyone would think you lot are in love;> Personally, i prefer the brembo gts/lcr 4 pot setup, they are spot on with ds2500, having owned 2 sets now, i can confirm they are epic without brake fade, and importantly are desiged to work specifically with our MC, unlike a generic oversized heavy set of 'lambo brakes'.
