Hi guys,

Ive had my fabia for about 3 months now and had no bother with it up untill about a month ago. my central locking does not work at all leaving me locking all doors from inside and my boot doesnt lock at all! my windows seemed to have switched over ( driverside window is the passengers button on the control panel) id really appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction or give me a quick fix?

sounds like wires to drivers door are getting old cracked or wet, maybe even broken. usually in the bendy section from body to car.

may also be something else though, just a thought

thanks for the reply! ive been in behind my door cards and there's little or no moisture at all, no loose wires or blown fuses ect. im just really lost! :think:

I had this at one point, my windows swapped on the door switch, the mirror controls also swapped and the locking control on the door swapped too. I found that pushing the locking thing at the back of the door (not sure what the technical term is, but the thing that goes up and down when you lock/unlock the doors!!! ) swapped everything back over!
