Nice part of the world you live in great roads if I remember correctly.... Was up there a few years ago on business- There's a pub in the centre of town somewhere that has some seriously thirsty customers. I happened to be there when the races were on- not that they seemed bothered. By about 10pm most of them were seriously the wrong side of wobbly. Guy from Newcastle said when the footie was on they were even worse for wear!

Even at 4 in the afternoon it was busy in there...we walked past earlier in the day and after a curry couldn't resist seing what it was like inside
