I've read the same regarding coil packs failing one after the other - unless they are all replaced.

Regarding spark plugs - my car is on 96,000 miles and looked original. They were very tight to get out. Had to be very very careful.

Definitely call a dealer regarding the recall, they are very helpful. Only issue I had was that mine failed so badly I couldn't get the car to the garage.

Calling SUK tomorrow to see if they will reimburse the cost of the parts!

Phoned Arnold Clark Skoda today got the car booked in for the recall no probs . I wish I had seen this thread before would have saved myself £100 , oh well not to worry ,glad they are all getting changed .
