I think that rear seat passengers would benefit from the extra potential headroom, but I rather like the current 'saloon'.

A Vrs of either would be great to try out.

You could say that about the current Octavia, the estate has the same floor pan and boot outline, it just gets the extra height above the load liner.

Plenty of Octavia estates out there on the road.

I prefer the shape.

Not that the extra space above the loadliner would be used very often.
