Winter ready Monte Carlo TSI

Featured Replies

Just converted the new Monte Carlo to winter running configuration. Appreciate the supporters of large alloys my not be impressed with the new look but I prefer safety, although personally I think the Line Alloys are OK.

They don't look too bad! At least you wont get stuck this winter! :)

Still looks good! Where you get the alloys and tyres? Reasonable cost?

Rims are Skoda 15" Line Alloys; genuine Fabia/Roomster part bought from Haysalden Skoda at £90 a corner, tyres are 195/55 Avon ST's from mytyres; £58 a corner. Colleague fitted them for me at the college where I work, although the well used tyre machine did slightly graze the edge of one of the rims but you cannot see it.

who cares what it looks like as long as you are safe from the impending winter

Spending £600 may have guaranteed you no snow this winter... :hi:
