Forgot to mention I decided to walkway and do the right thing and keep my rs.

Had 3 Golfs all purchased from VW Franchise dealers, and never ever ever ever again. Both the dealerships and VW UK couldn't give a t@ss once cars have been sold AND believe me the 'famous' VW build quality is a complete myth. Just my opinion but i wouldn't touch them with a bargepole now, no way ever. Had mk2, mk 3 and mk 4 Golfs........all a complete myth.

The only time I've been in a VW dealership was when I got lost looking for the Skoda dealer and needed to ask for directions.

I'm not sure that they were especially pleased but it's not my fault there are so many bloody roundabouts in York (if you've been you'll probably understand or it could just be me). How can they expect anyone to find anything?

Carefree I agree with you as regards to "famous" vag build quality is a myth. I have found this with my RS. Lots of little niggles with it. No major issues Ive had well apart from the paint work which thanks to Skoda UK still isnt sorted.

My next car wont be vag thats for sure but the thought of an R32 would be nice.

Got lost there last week Had some fun on the roundabouts with the sports suspension, upset the brother in law in his BMW Z4 3.0

R32 is a great car, good luck when taking it in for stupid niggly problems. More than that, good luck in finding a decent VW dealership. Like i say, only my experience.....do others agree/disagree??
