Factory fit unless you fancy taking the roof lining out, as they appear to be mounted internally.

Available through Skoda parts desk at the dealers. Have you removed the curved plastic end caps of the bars, front and rear to see whats in there? ;-)

No. Just in the process of buying a yeti second hand. Would love the silver roof bars but I will likely end up with one with black rails. Just hoped I could swap them out some how

IMO refitting of roof rails can be a DIY job.

Because having that "roof rail trim disappearing issue" at the time, I had the chance to see the heads of the mounting screws securing the black metallic ends / holders of the rails to the roof.

The screws are "Torx" type - as all over the car where high fastening torque is needed.

Keep in mind that the metallic ends / holders + plastic trims will always be black.

And just my personal opinion - the car looks better with the black roof rails...

I can confirm that the fixing bolt heads are under the plastic end caps. I assume that the "Nut" part is captive on the underside of the roof panel?
