Today I have the following fault code appear, P0916 - gear shift position circuit low.<br /><br />Can anyone elaborate abit more, can't find anything saying what it actually means.<br /><br />Cleared the code & it hasn't come back, not yet anyway.<br /><br />Cheers.

The generic OBD DTCs don't map well to VAG fault codes when it comes to the transmission. You will get more specific information with VCDS or a VAG specific reader.

Its got an oil & filter change booked in to be done next week so will ask them to hook it up & see what it says.
