Does your phone support ad2p? If iphone then it doesn't

as above, depends on the phone really.

I know its not new tech, a guy i know did it with a pioneer BT unit and a Samsung D600 years ago

cheers fellas, i have a htc one x which i believe does support ad2p?

Should be fine. Usually you use the media setting on most radios, pair the 2 and simply play the music on the phone.

Works on my vw unit with my HTC

...got some time off now, so will have a play around, tried a mates iphone before thats probably why i couldn't get it to work!?

thanks for the info!

Yes, the iphone wont work but your HTC should. Not sure how much control the radio will give you on the HTC.

If like the VW unit, it will play but you'll need to use the phone to skip tracks and start playback etc

still cant get this to work.....connect htc to HU, start playing music but just plays out of phones loudspeaker, cant see any options within either phone of HU to change anything?

....anyone out there with one of these particular Kenwoods got it to work?

iPhone does do A2DP just fine, I use it with my iPhone4 at home connected to my Yamaha A2DP bluetooth enabled AVR.
