Hello fella's i have an octavia mk 1 and

1.it does not lock all the doors only drivers door gets locked. all other 3 doors get unlock after locking please help and

2. i have an service reminder on dash how to delete

3. Airbag light Doesn't goes off

please help i'm really frustrated :( :(

Do you have remote locking or are you using the key in the door?

Does the interior light come on as expected?

For the service light reset, try searching, loads of threads about it.

For the airbag light you need to get the car checked for fault codes otherwise there are a number of potential problems from wiring to the actual airbag units which could be the cause of the problem.

service light - is the car running on fixed or variable servicing? For the former check the Octy owners manual the process is detailed in there, otherwise you will need to have the service reminder reset via vagcom/vcds or a suitable odb2 device.

sir i am using remote locking and interior light does not comes on because it stays on even if door is closed and the red light in driver's door does not lights up and if u lock the car with remote it locks all doors for 1 sec. then all other doors except drivers door unlock again and and the mirrior do not come down if i press unlock button on remote for 10 or more seconds but if the window is down and i lock the car from key lock then the mirror goes up..

and i have one more problem the hvac does not work i mean ac works but heater does not works (it does not blows hot air),i checked for codes by pressing RE-CIR. and ECON for a minute or so. i got 4F7 00 on screen please help me i'm in a trouble as soon please

You do really need to get the car scanned with VCDS.

The problems with the locking could be related to the wiring, or the central convenience module (which is what controls the locking and unlocking behaviour).

Does the door open symbol on the dash work correctly?

That would suggest the microswitches in the doors are OK, so it could be the central convenience module that is the problem. You need to get the car checked for fault codes otherwise we are just going to be guessing.

sir i'm from india and in india people charge a big amount of money for checking the car for codes. i was thinking of doing it myself and yes i'm able to lock and unlock the car using the lock in driver's door. and the interior light does not comes on..

It will probably cost a fair bit to just start randomly changing bits. Also if you need to change the CCM then the new one will need to be coded with VCDS or by a dealer anyway.

There are a few members on here in India who have VCDS and could help if they are near you.
