Barum Bravuris 2 Review

Featured Replies

Just replaced my Barum Bravuris 2 225/45/17 with similar, after the grip in the wet deteriorated badly at 3mm. Have managed 16,300 miles on them and no complaints at all about grip or noise. Mpg settled down at 50.3mpg overall 'full to full' which was only a shade poorer than with the previous Michelin Primacy HP, which I also got 1000miles less life from.

Today I paid £150 for two Barum's fitted at National Tyres. Michelins are about £170 each! So if you want general purpose/ commuting tyres then I'd recommend Barums. Only a satisfied customer.

Have to agree with you, after 8000K miles, these seem to be really good tyres in all conditions - Summer 40C in Europe, to here 0C and very slippery. These are great value tyres, and I think that you would have to be doing some extreme driving to catch them out.
