Wheel Alignment

Featured Replies

There has been a big discussion on another forum regarding this topic so I started to wonder.

Found out that Fabia has only one thing around its wheels to be aligned, and that is a "trace width" which is a direct translation from Serbian, or distance between wheels on the same axis. I suppose you have the correct words for that and I hope you understand. Other cars have many values to be centered and aligned.

I havent done wheel alignment on my Fabia since I bought it, or 40kkm and 2 yrs of exploitation. The car runs straight when I let the steering wheel loose and the tires are being worn out evenly.

What do you think, how often do You have your wheels aligned?

only when steering / suspension parts changed or impact with curb

if runs straight and even tyre wear then i would leave well alone

I think only front toe is adjustable on many modern small cars.

I would only get an alignment done as per bluecar1's advice above. It can show up potential accident damage though.
