Just had my new blackline checked by local 3D wheel alignment garage. All the cambers were out. Is this worth pursuing the stealer for? The garage said its common on new cars not just skoda's.

My dealer had the alignment on our Octavia checked and corrected free of charge under warranty (they took the car to a well respected local alignment specialist). Reclaiming your costs from your dealer for going elsewhere might be another matter if you never gave them the opportunity to do (or arrange) the work themselves.

They will be "in tolerance" even if you go back to skoda. Also, you have had the work done by a third party so there is nothing skoda will do for you.

Disagree. As above, they're rarely perfect from dealer - will nearly always be considered as 'within tolerances, Sir', certainly as far as any warranty work is concerned.

Worth all new owners having a full 'Hunter' rig (or similar) check doing.

Mine were well out. Checked car at 6 months. Drove much, much better afterwards!

It was a hunter rig today. 3 out of 4 wheels out. I will ask stealer, may get a goodwill carton of screen wash!!!!

Skoda warranty does cover wheel alignment, but only for a short mileage/time, much less than the three years for most other stuff. Check the paperwork.
