Front Seat Torque Settings

Featured Replies

Hi guys,

Had a bit of a search but no joy! Anyway the bolts (seat rail to floor) came out easily and weren't tight at all.

Does anyone have the actual torque required for the 4 bolts?

Oh and the height mechanism pins were loose causing the seat to rock, I 'fixed' it by driving a flat blade screwdriver into the gap and chopping the handle off :D must remember not to adjust it in future lol.

Cheers!

The handle easily comes apart by removing the plastic caps covering the torqs and then removing them. Too late now! Haha

It's not play in the handle its the actual rivets in the mechanism mate

When i put mine in i just put them in "tight" not somthing you want to come loose but only being trox bolts they dont like to go to tight.

Looking at the figures on other cars they all seem to be around 65nm so i wouldnt think that would be far wrong.
