Featured Replies

It was all part of the service, so no separate charge, sorry.

Sorry for going off topic.

I am looking to keep my Scout long term. Where did you get your vehicle re trimmed, would you recommend them, and can you give me a rough ball park figure of how much. Not bothered about heated seats.

Many thanks,

Fin

Seat Surgeons in York. I have had both of my Skodas retrimmed. Prices may have changed but when I had my Octaviadone over 2 years ago it cost £850 + VAT. Apart from the seats, the retrim includes headrests, Jumbo box lid, bolsters each side of the rear seat, picnic table lid and door cards.

I'm in the do it every major service camp if you think about what is doing makes a lot of sense to replace the oil regularly.

My Yeti's got it's mojo back... well, that is to say its back to being a 4wd.

It's official. The Haldex pump had failed. Report by Skoda workshop reads:

"Carried out road test found wheels spinning, checked codes, found Haldex clutch pump had open circuit,

Carried out test plan, fault cleared, checked wiring and voltages - unable to fault. Road tested fault still present.

Ran test plan and found fault with pump - requires parts.

Removed and replaced Haldex pump as required, cleared a LL fault codes and road tested , All OK"

Happy days for me, the Bryan Byrt Skoda guys were great and all done under warranty. Good to know being here almost at the last

Skoda "outpost" (Australia) a funny little car from Eastern Europe can be fixed so quickly.
