Hi, does anyone know how to turn the "bleeps" off when locking/unlocking the Skoda Octavia with VCDS or which module ? Mine is a 2012 elegance model without maxidot !!!

You'll need a dealer or someone with vcds

If you turn your beeps off regularly check your siren works as they only have a life off just over three years. It is not as if the beeps are loud

Thanks for the help guys, would I turn them off through the convenience module of VCDS ? Also is it linked to the alarm system or separate ?? Thanking you all in advance. The beeps aren't loud unless car is in a confined space e.g. a garage !!!

Yes it is in the central convenience module you need. The alarm siren is used for the beeping.

On a 2012 its more likely to be module 09 - Central Electrics. Older models did use module 46 - Central Convenience. It will be somewhere either in long coding, or the adaption section. I would think its in the long coding somewhere. The long coding helper is very useful for this as simplifies it all with tickboxes.
