Looks good, getting mine done in next few months too.

Not decided on black or anthracite yet :-)

I do like a nice LE vRS but need to reduce that wheel arch gap IMO. Any other plans??

I always wanted Anthracite wheels for my silver vRS but now I've got them I reckon they're too dark for me :(

I've seen some gunmetal grey which I think will look good.

Good shout, bushes made a world of difference... had the coilvers on before and after I had the bushes changed and would highly recommend it to anyone who was unsure

Yeah big difference, looking at springs instead of coillies, did you go for upgraded ones or just standerd

Looks awful.

No disrespect but I don't really like cars with black wheels. It's a bit overdone.

Please don't take offence to my opinion, it is only mine and others will differ. And at the end of the day it's your car and you are the one who has to drive it.

Much love.

Looks good, dont see many SEs with black wheels!

Replaced the FARB bush and both wishbone bushes with Powerflex and replaced the standard drop links with stronger ones. (seem thicker to me, therefore stronger IMO but don't really have much to back that up. Anyone care or know to back this up?!?)

Agreed.

Almost shouting...."ROZZERS, please stop me"

Looks absolutely dreadful...IMO

I have black wheels, on a black car which I think works.

Almost shouting...."ROZZERS, please stop me"

surely that goes for any modified car? Or is there a police force where black alloy wheels are public enemy number 1?

Its a racist thing so no.

Tbh i think its what the car needed. Obviously everyone has different opinions but i do really like it and when lowered it will be perfect to me. Not wanting to go over the top.. But just subtle enough.

Looks just like a set of steelies with the plassy trims missing....IMO . :giggle:

However, the point IS that you are seemingly happy with them, so that's just wizard with me matey.

MY only advice would be to put them back to silver if and when you come to sell the car, as in black I reckon they'd put a few potential buyers right off...once again, just in MY opinion.

Have you ever considered gold, rather like the Renault Clio Williams or the Subaru Impreza? A dull shade would probably be best, was thinking about having my SE done and would be interested to hear others opinions.

I think it's the picture, there's not enough light. In person it would look better.

+1 for gold wheels on an SE!
