Door card clips - help :)

Featured Replies

Hi

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to get new door card clips from?

I've seen some genuine skoda ones in eBay for about £8 for 10

Is there anywhere cheaper to get them?

I need them for when I re seal my doors this weekend :)

Thanks

Scrapyard? :) I don't think you'll find them new any cheaper than that to be honest.

Ok cheers

I just thought that someone on here said a few days ago they got them for something like 25p each?

Got 14 for £9 from my local dealer, tps probably would have been cheaper again.

do you mean these? I got some from the local dealers for about the 25p/piece mark a few weeks back.

That's the badger!

always handy to have some spare as you'll never know when you will need them.

I probably have some lying around in the shed. Its the kind of thing I would never throw away. However I always have a need for them as I can't seem to remove a doorcard without breaking one.

if yours vrs has the pins in the rear door cars that pop up and down when locked / unlocked like mine .... watch out for the little collar on the door card that they poke through .. i destroyed mine although they are not dear to replace

Those clips are all the same thing, 5J0 version is the latest supercession. Also, allegedly the best, because they have been modified for better fit, ease of use, etc...

Ignore the K on the start of the 6Y0 867 260 one's, the old part number just started 6Y0 867 260 and was then superceded by the 5J0 867 260's so my mate at TPS says.

You can get a pack of 8 from Halfords for a few quid.
