Trim Clip/Rivet

Featured Replies

Hi All,

I am right in the middle of sealing the door panels on my vRS due to the water ingress problem that seems to plague the Fabias. Anyway, i managed to break most of the clips while getting the rear door cards off and so bought a load from Rivervale Skoda in Brighton. The part number they have listed is K6Y0867260 but the clips are a lot shorter than the original, white in colour instead of a mild green and dont have a rubber seal on but rather a ring of black plastic.

Are these clips totally incorrect or are these the clips that Skoda now supply? The parts man did check on his computer when i ordered them so have they made a mistake?

Any help much appreciated.

go to a scrappy and steal loads of them for free? can't see scrap merchants being too fussed about a few plastic clips.

They're fine mate, just done 4 doors with them today.

They are more robust than the original clips, and the integrated seal on them is better than

the separate rubber washer which "seals" the original clips. Length is unimportant, if you hold them up side by side

you'll see they will snap in to the same position.

Thanks again grr666. At least i now know i can finish the car by Sunday

On a side note my wife disagrees about length being "unimportant".....i have no idea what she is on about though :(

Just had a look at my bag of clips which are exactly as you describe, but the

part number I have is different to what you posted.

I have Part number 5J0 867 276

I'll take a quick pic and post it for comparison.

Stand by mate...

Edit, here you go, just took this with my phone.

Side by side comparison.
