what wattage are the bulbs for the dipped beams on the vrs

Featured Replies

i know they are H7 but are they 55W or 100W. Just so i can order the correct replacement.its a 2011 60 plate

Would say 55w as 100w are ilegal for road use and could melt the plastic bulb holder. Some bulb websites tell you after you put reg number in what bulbs it requires

55Watt buddy :)

Just as an aside, on a VRS how do the front fog lights work? The lights down where the fog lights would normally be are the DRLs as I understand?

55w standard lights.

No front fogs on the vRS. The DRL lights take up the position fog lights would normally be located.

There is most definitely a switch to turn the front ones on, though - I saw it on the VRS test car only the other day. One click back for front and another click back for front & rear.

I didn't try - it wasn't foggy

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your car when it comes.

The rear fog light switches on by pulling out the Headlight switch once..

The one that switches on Sidelights or Sidelight and headlights.

No idea why there would be a switch for front fog lights when there are none on the car.

Thanks - I guess I will see when it arrives!

Therea a switch behind trim cover you can turn drls on off

There is that hidden switch where the obd2 port is.

Your DRL's will still come on with the sidelights & headlights though if you have that switched off.
