Is there any way to download new tomtom maps to use on my pda satnav.

The one I have doesnt even have the m6toll!

Would this ****-up overlays, or are they based on gps coordinates so dont matter?

Based on the TomTom Go you have to buy map updates as and then they become available.

Just paid out for some and there was not much improvement although the M6 toll was there.

Any avaliable on file sharing places?

Stealing an up to date map after being supplied one that was out of date at time of purchase does not upset my concience.

IIRC Tom tom only realise updates of maps for PDA with the new verion on the software EG. Tom Tom 5. I only remeber this as the old house we used to live at wasn't on Tom Tom 2 but it was on Tom Tom 3. When asked if I could load a Tom Tom 3 map on 2 or vice versa I was told they are not compatible which means they are onto a nice little earner when people want new maps :(

New TTG maps are a slight improvement and with veron 5.1 Firmware you have the full postcode srch facility all digits rather tahn first three, so useful for that feature alone.

Yes you have to by the new maps and they are out now got mine last week, but the firmware updates are FOC
