Wing mirror replacement

Hi all

My OS wing mirror has finally bitten the dust, it had a bash last year that made it a bit wobbly and today I went out to it and some kind soul has obliterated it.

Found one at a local scrappy (albeit wrong colour), my question is has anyone replaced the whole unit before and how hard is it to do? The replacement is the complete mirror with black triangular base plate and an electronic wire and socket.
