Feels like a new car

Featured Replies

Might sound odd, but a few vcds tweaks, new lights and a bolero have made my car feel new again. Cleaning it would help complete the look, lol

I did this time and time again ith my ep3, but don't intend on going down the same route as I don't have the funds or time to install lots of things.

Have a feeling the car will stay longer in my possession with the minor tweaks I have made. Just need to sort the small blemish on the front bumper (precious owner) and change the badges as my wheels are looking a little old now

Anyone else feel the same?

I know what you mean. After Mike installed the bolero in mine and a couple of tweaks, its feels like a different car.

Ah, were you there on New Year's Eve?

Certainly was, topman is Mike.

He certainly is. I wasn't able to meet up with him after driving to Blackburn from Basingstoke to see family, but he has helped me no end on here and by phone

Ok. Curiosity killed the kitty!!

What vcds tweaks did you try?

Coming home lights and cornering fogs although I am thinking of disabling them both as the cornering fogs don't really do much and coming home lights go straight into a neighbours front room  oh and the HIDs

I know what you mean, after having it 5 years, within the last 12 months it's had refurb wheels, respray, New mats. Stick with this? Known history and problem free with 58K miles, or buy a 2012 FL or £5000 more for a Golf GTI with all the toys.

Can you not change your coming home lights to use the fog lights? That would hopefully not be as bright through there window
