I live in the Medway area but my baby has developed an abs issue and I am currently in Folkestone

I have the abs and asc lights on and occasionally the red park light, also have once had the amber exclamation mark within the rev counter binnacle

Started all of a sudden. I drove to a well known supermarket (sainsbury) and parked everything was ok

Came out after about 10 mins started her up drove out of the car park and the abs was cutting in at about 5 mph

got out on the road and the abs asc lights came on

fluid level is ok i think

brake pads ok front and rear

new wheel bearings both sides appox 6 weeks ago (so should be no problem with the pick up rings, i dont know what the proper name is)

no noticeable leaks in any pipes

no noticeable wear on any of the sender cables

was motd end of november and no issues

everything fine until the supermarket trip

Currently using a relatives car as I dont want to create any issue with my baby but id like her back to her old self as soon as i can

Anybody help me out please

I cant afford dealership costs and im pretty skint but ill borrow what i have to from somewhere if somebody can help me out and get my baby back to rights

Check the VCDS section for someone in Kent. There's a list of VCDS owners.

I had exactly the same problem - independent garage hadn't pushed the bearing on far enough to pick up the signal.

Try taking it back to the garage you had the bearings done and ask them to check they have installed them properly.

Was an independent as I changed my wn although i had a garage press the old ones out and new in.

Difference is that I have covered approx 2000 miles since install and no issues at all until now.

All of a sudden and out of the blue.

Hopefully we can get to the bottom of it tomorrow.

Can i post a video on here anywhere? Only short one of the trip comp readout of a trip last year from kent to yorkshire

Have a few but that one is the best mpg i have yet achieved
